La Dra. Wilmina Landford es una cirujana plástica y reconstructiva que ofrece el espectro completo de procedimientos quirúrgicos estéticos y reconstructivos. Educación

La trayectoria académica de la Dra. Landford es tan impresionante como sus logros profesionales. Destacó con honores en Biología y Antropología Médica en Mount Holyoke College, el prestigioso primer colegio para mujeres. Recibió una beca para asistir a la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad de Stony Brook en Long Island, Nueva York, donde obtuvo su título de Doctora en Medicina (M.D.) con distinción académica. Posteriormente, completó su residencia integrada en cirugía plástica en el mundialmente reconocido Hospital Johns Hopkins, donde fue galardonada con premios como el Johns Hopkins Best Clinical Research Award por su investigación y desempeñó el cargo de residente principal en su último año.

Durante su formación en Johns Hopkins, tuvo el honor de entrenarse junto a pioneros en las áreas de cirugía mamaria, de mano, craneofacial, microcirugía y estética. Además, adquirió una amplia experiencia en el prestigioso Centro de Trauma R. Adams Cowley/Universidad de Maryland, un centro de trauma de Nivel I con alto volumen de pacientes especializado en traumatismos faciales y de extremidades.
