What to Expect on the Day of a FaceTite Treatment
Individuals in Washington, D.C., and Maryland should arrive at our office with no makeup, heavy creams, or lotions. You’ll be given medication to help you relax and local anesthesia to numb the treatment area, so you’ll still be able to respond to questions and commands. Dr. Landford will create a tiny incision, usually under your chin or behind your earlobe. The cannula will be inserted under your skin and deliver the RF energy while an external electrode moves over the skin to heat the fat and tighten the tissue.
After the procedure, you’ll be given a supportive bandage or compression garment. You’ll experience some swelling, bruising, and tenderness, but you can drive yourself home.
