HOW TO GET STARTED

Step 1: Complete a Contact Form | Submit Your Inquiry | Submit Photos

To begin, complete our contact form or call us directly at 301-235-1900 so that we can gather your information. We request that out-of-town patients submit high-resolution photos taken in natural or room lighting without flash.  Please ensure that the photos are clear and well-lit, focusing on the areas of concern. Photos can be uploaded HERE:

Your photos will remain strictly confidential and will only be used for consultation purposes.

Step 2: The Phone Consultation with our Patient Coordinators

Our Patient Coordinators will guide you through the initial consultation process via phone. During this call, we’ll discuss your aesthetic goals, gather detailed health history, and share preliminary information about the procedure(s) you’re considering. You’ll also receive an estimated cost range and insights into what to expect during recovery and the surgical process. This phone consultation is a vital first step. Once completed, you can schedule an in-person or virtual consultation with Dr. Landford to develop a personalized surgical plan. A consultation fee is required to reserve this time, which can later be applied toward the cost of your surgery.

Step 3: Your Consultation with Dr. Landford

You’ll meet with Dr. Landford either in-person or virtually to discuss your goals in detail.In-Person Consultation: During this session, you’ll meet Dr. Landford one-on-one to express your concerns and aspirations. After a comprehensive examination, Dr. Landford will provide a tailored surgical plan to help achieve your desired results. Virtual Consultation: Virtual consultations are available via Zoom. Before your appointment, you’ll receive a link for the Zoom meeting and any necessary paperwork to complete in advance. Similar to in-person consultations, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your goals and Dr. Landford will use your photos and Zoom visuals to conduct a virtual exam.

Step 4: Booking Your Surgery

After your consultation, you can secure your surgical date with a 20% deposit of the total surgeon’s fee, which is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due three weeks prior to your surgery.

For patients completing both the consultation and preoperative visit virtually, you’ll need to arrive in Maryland at least two days before surgery for an in-person review and physical exam.

The duration of your stay in Maryland depends on the procedure. Plan to stay in the Maryland/Washington DC area for 7-14 days to accommodate post-surgery care with Dr. Landford. In-person post-surgery appointments are also necessary at different intervals depending on your procedure.

Step 5: Preparing for Your Surgery

Three weeks before your surgery, you will need to get medical clearance from your primary care physician. Don’t worry, our coordinator will guide you through the process and make sure you have everything you need. They’ll walk you through each step, so you’ll know exactly what to expect and how to get everything submitted to our office.

We will review any medications you should stop taking before surgery, as well as provide you with a shopping list of items you’ll need for a smooth recovery. Additionally, our office will provide the necessary post-surgery garments for your comfort and convenience.

Step 6: Planning Your Stay and Post-Surgery Care

We’ve partnered with several nearby hotels that offer special rates and amenities for our patients. These hotels are conveniently located near Dr. Landford’s office, ensuring easy access for your post-surgery appointments and allowing her to visit you at your hotel room for personalized follow-up care.
