Where Are the Incisions and Scars for Ballerina Breast Augmentation?
Ballerina breast augmentation can be performed on its own or combined with another procedure when there are additional concerns you would like to address. Dr. Landford will consider your anatomy, proportions, and goals when determining whether a combined approach makes sense for you.
Breast Lift
If your breasts have lost volume and also begun to sag, augmentation alone may not address everything you would like to change. Dr. Landford may recommend adding a breast lift to remove loose skin and raise the breast to a more youthful position. An implant can then provide the additional volume needed to complete the shape while keeping the overall result proportional to your frame.
Liposuction
For patients interested in improving overall body proportions, liposuction can address localized areas of unwanted fat during the same surgical plan. Contouring areas such as the abdomen, waist, or back can create greater balance between the breasts and surrounding figure.
Fat Grafting
Fat grafting gives Dr. Landford another way to refine the result of an implant-based augmentation. Your own fat can be added in targeted areas where a little more coverage or fullness would be helpful, including areas where an implant edge might otherwise be more noticeable. It can also be useful for addressing smaller differences between the breasts.
